The captain of our ship, she's a broker among brokers:

Barbara began her real estate career as a property manager, in 1981. She became a full-time real estate agent in 1984, and has founded two successful real estate companies. She is a past Director of the Denver Board of Realtors and holds a national GRI designation.

When Barbara began Paramount Realty, Inc., early in 1998, she had a number of beliefs and goals in mind:

• She wanted a way to pass professional skills and the principle of integrity on to the next generation of realtors.
• She believed that a small company can provide the highest level of service to clients, and be a vital force in the community.
• She believed that quality people with professional skills and knowledge can be invaluable in helping clients with major financial decisions.
• She believed that realtors can prosper and grow, personally and professionally, by helping and supporting each other.
• She wanted a working environment blessed by diversity among the people, and by dogs sleeping at the front door.

Barbara brings all her skill and experience to these ideals every day.

Barbara's first career was in education. Her degree is from the University of Colorado in Denver. For a private nonprofit organization, she created an inner-city pre-school program, including the development of curriculum, facilities, and staff training. She also taught early-childhood classes for classroom aides and day care directors. As a full-time lead instructor for Community College of Denver, she helped develop the day care center and child development center for the college and the two universities that share the Auraria Campus. Barbara is an avid walker and reader, enjoys baking for others, and loves animals...especially her dog, Tillie.

Michael Amen - email Michael

Michael is our property management specialist. Give Michael a call, he's your guy!

With over eight years of experience of managing properties around the greater Denver metro area, he knows the ins and outs of the property management business.

Being a Colorado native, and living in the metro area since 1995, Michael keeps in tune with current market conditions in the rental business. Michaels love for working with people, skills, experience, and dedication to hard work and pleased clients makes him a valued member of the Paramounts Personal Service Team.

As well as managing properties, he can also help you with the purchase or sale of property. If you would like more information, or you have properties you would like to have managed, give Michael a call, he's your guy!

Michael comes to the Denver metro area from the farmland of Northeastern Colorado. He is an avid gardener, loves spending time outdoors, cooking for friends and family, collecting antiques, and of course his dogs!
